Every Fern Ring from the Wild is topped with a completely unique pounamu stone, hand-cut and polished, and set into a sturdy box setting. The ring band is tapered, with delicate and very detailed fern fronds carved over the shoulders of the band.
The pounamu is set between the two tips of the fern fronds. This ring was created to remind us of the beautiful wild spaces in Aotearoa NZ. The many different ferns and tree-ferns that are so typical of the NZ forest, green and shady spaces to treasure and find rest and peace within them. Each piece of pounamu is quite different, some may sit high on the ring, and others are cut to sit a little flatter. Some may be rectangular and others are cut more as a square.
We can create these to order in sizes from XL down to XS, and orders will take 2 - 4 weeks to hand-craft depending on our workload. The rings we have in stock are available here.
If you choose to order one made in your size, please note we will contact you to check what piece of stone you wish to have in your ring. Each piece of pounamu is hand cut and polished and we have a range of tones available from deep opaque green to a lighter green with streaks of orange and brown. We can show you photos of the stone we have, or we can craft one with some of your own stone, shaped to fit.
