Gem Cluster Drop Earrings

These one-of-a-kind drop earrings are hand crafted by NZ jeweller Vaune Mason.

Each earring has a grouping of three small oval gemstones - two green-gold tourmaline and one pink sapphire* - clasped in tiny claw settings and hung on fine silver chains. The silver has a dark oxidised finish which makes the vibrant colours of the gemstones really pop.  At 70mm long these earrings are just the right amount of dangly.

*These pink sapphires are lab stones - chemically identical to the earth mined stone but are created in a laboratory. 

Vaune Mason is based on the gorgeous Kāpiti coast. Her detailed carved animals are reproduced in glowing bronze and silver, and every now and then, in recycled native timbers, stone or bone. Vaune also loves to make beautiful be-jewelled pieces that look worthy of a treasure hunters' hoard.
