These drop earrings are completely unique. From Wellington's Lyall Bay beach - the pebbles are very slightly different colours. Set with a delicate texture in fine silver these pebbles measure about 9mm by 15mm and 9mm by 14mm. The total drop of the earrings is about 45mm.
Claire is inspired by natural materials and native NZ flora. Her pieces often showcase simple pebbles, found on her walks in nature, or beautifully executed examples of native leaves made in pure or sterling silver as brooches, earrings and pendants. Alluvial gold - found in it's natural state in NZ's rivers is another little addition to her jewellery, adding a tiny but precious highlight.
