These iconic earrings from Dunedin based jeweller David McLeod feature hand fabricated solid silver match sticks, one burnt, and one live with a 9ct rose gold head. Each earring hangs on a hand formed silver ear-wire.
David McLeod is now based in the Manawatū, having recently moved up the country from Dunedin. David is a well established contemporary jeweller; his work is characterised by strong and simple design, with a twist of wry humour. Bold settings with beautiful stones either semi precious or locally sourced shell, set with a lush 22ct yellow gold rim in sturdy and beautifully made sterling setting bases. David McLeod’s jewellery is unafraid to be simple, creating a quiet statement.
Total length of these fabulous earrings is 64mm and each match is approximately 48mm long.
