These detailed Pohutakawa Leaf Earrings by Herbert and Wilks have a 24ct gold layer applied on top of the unique texture on the leaf. The technique used is called Keum-Boo and uses a foil of 24ct gold to bond to the surface of the oxidised silver. Each set of earrings will be slightly unique as the application of the gold to the leaf is always a little different.
The earrings are approximately 42mm in length, including hooks which are are unique square shape.
Sally Herbert is the jeweller behind HerbertandWilks jewellery. We just love her style! Sally creates wonderfully rich textured pieces that can be layered up, or worn on their own. Personally we're all about the layering! But hey - wear it how you want to - HerbertandWilks pieces are lush.
