These studs are carved in the shape of a bird's claw, inspired by the claws of the native NZ owl, named for the sound of it's call: Ruru. These studs are subtle but fierce!
The Wild Jewellery honours the native flora and fauna of Aotearoa NZ in their beautifully hand crafted pieces. Cast in solid sterling silver each piece is individually hand-finished, with sterling silver posts and comfortable silver clutches at the back.
Choose from a polished bright or lightly oxidised silver finish. These earrings also come in bronze or can be made up for you in other metals - please get in touch to enquire.
Each stud is 28.5mm long and approx 10mm at the widest point.
Customisation available on request. Because all our jewellery is individually handmade no two pieces are identical.

Orders are typically packed and sent on Thursdays and Fridays from our Wellington gallery, in line with our open days (Thursday - Saturday).
If you place an order outside of these hours, it will be carefully prepared and shipped on our next open day.
For custom pieces, your jewellery may be sent directly from the artist, so shipping times can vary slightly.
