These statement earrings from Vaune Mason are crafted from oxidised sterling silver and faceted garnets. Each earring is heavily textured, and the round garnets taper from larger to very small as they go down the earrings.
The earrings measure 56mm long excluding the hooks.
Vaune Mason is based on the Kāpiti coast. Her detailed carved animals are most often reproduced in glowing bronze and silver, and every now and then, in recycled native timbers, stone or bone. Vaune also loves to make beautiful be-jewelled pieces that look worthy of a treasure hunters' hoard. Her inspiration comes from the things that surround her in nature. Her style is strong, archaic and feminine.
