A signature piece from David McLeod - his TEXT-ure pieces feature a pattern that is created by raised jumbled letters. This ring has the letters for the words WITH RESPECT around the ring. Over the letters David fuses 22ct gold - creating a solid silver ring with the richness of gold as a focal point.
The fluted form of the ring means this is a very comfortable fit, and the raised edges protect the pattern and the fused gold. This ring is a size X and is 11mm wide across the band.
David McLeod is now based in the Mawawatū, having moved up the country from Dunedin. He is a well established contemporary jeweller. His work is characterised by strong and simple design, with a twist of wry humour.
