Inspired by the endangered Tuatara - a reptile that is found only in Aotearoa New Zealand. This ring is carved around the top and sides with a scale texture drawn from the tuatara's skin. This is a strongly tapered piece with a high rounded top, dramatic, and yet very comfortable to wear. These rings are available in solid bronze with a polished oxidised finish.
Band is 9mm wide at the top and 5mm wide at the base. The rounded top is 6.5mm thick, and the ring tapers down smoothly to be only 2mm thick at the base.
Available in a range of sizes, and able to be made to order in your particular size. These gorgeous unisex rings also come in silver - available here.
Please allow 2-3 weeks production for this piece, as the gallery has limited stock and certain pieces may be made to order. If you wish to check stock levels before you order, please email us.
The Wild Jewellery is the joint creative venture of Annie Collins and Vaune Mason. After many years of working side by side in the jewellery studio, these two artists decided to make things official and create work that was a fusion of their styles and interests.
The Wild focuses on endangered or extinct animals, and precious natural resources of Aotearoa New Zealand. Their jewellery is crafted in solid sterling silver or warm bronze, with rich textures and stylish designs. Accents of native timbers, bone and stone are added to individual pieces.
