This bangle celebrates the Matariki stars and celebration. It is hand-crafted by Buster Collins in a soft square profile from solid sterling silver. There are nine tiny hand-pierced stars around the rim of the bangle which is finished with a light oxidised patina.

Matariki is celebrated in Aotearoa New Zealand when the constellation widely known as Pleiades rises above the horizon in midwinter. For Māori this marks the start of the new year and the brightness of the stars is traditionally used as an indicator of the coming season’s crop.

Bangle measures 2mm thick and 3mm wide and comes in 4 sizes.

Please allow 2-3 weeks production for this piece, as the gallery has limited stock and certain pieces may be made to order. If you wish to check stock levels before you order, please email us.
