This beautiful, hand-built beaded necklace from Herbert & Wilks Jewellery is crafted in fine silver with 24ct gold fused into the surface using Keum-Boo - an ancient Korean metalworking technique. Alternate beads are oxidised to a deep, smoky contrast.
The cord is hand-plaited. Sits at approximately 49.5cm (at or just below the collarbone).
About the Artist: Sally Herbert is the Auckland-based jeweller behind Herbert and Wilks jewellery. Her design ethos is centered around pared-back simplicity and a belief that beauty often lies in simplicity. Orders are typically packed and sent on Thursdays and Fridays from our Wellington gallery, in line with our open days (Thursday - Saturday).
If you place an order outside of these hours, it will be carefully prepared and shipped on our next open day.
For custom pieces, your jewellery may be sent directly from the artist, so shipping times can vary slightly.
